January 2024 Ministry Reports

Clemens Unit On January 7th, Dan Groves went to this prison which is normally visited by Leonard and Cynthia Ventress. We had a time of worship, and I brought the word intitled, Love God First, with several supporting scriptures from Mark 12:30 through Psalms and 1 Cor. 13. That, before we can serve Him or love others, we must know and love God first.

On January 21st, Bryanne Adams, Zachery Robinson and Dan Groves manned a table display at the ministry fair held at April Sound Church, presenting Hope For All In Jesus Prison Outreach, and inviting others to get involved. We thank April Sound Church for their continued support, and for adopting this ministry under the umbrella of Helping Hands Ministry.

Stringfellow SAFP On Jan 21st, Dan Groves went into this unit and shared with about 20 men about taking risks in obeying Christ in His Word. Partway in, a man asked the question, “what is the fear of God?” We spent the remainder of our time exploring the fear of God and the relationship to the wrath of God as well as to respect, and trusting Him through faith and, from love.

Ray preached from the following scriptures, Phil 4:6-8; Gal 5:22-23; Matt 21:13 & 22; and Eph 6:18. His text was titled “The Fruit of the Spirit is Love”. Many came up for prayer and one surrendered his life to the Lord.
