The Unit Chaplain and his assistant welcomed us. The room was so packed that some had to be turned away. The Chaplain mentioned he would arrange for an overflow room next time. Dan Groves made his first visit to this Unit, where the men were encouraging and attentive, eager to hear from God. We engaged in worship, and I shared the idea that the Shekinah Glory was present, as the Lord’s presence filled the chapel. Dan Groves visited the Unit and met with 27 eager men seeking guidance from The Lord. Though the worship was brief without a team, we expressed our praise and gratitude vocally. Apostle Felder, Chaplain S. Johnson, Minister J. Felder, and Minister C. Kitchen traveled to Wainwright in Lovelady, TX. After departing from the trustee camp for the first service, we were joined by Keely and Dennis Ware. Dan Groves went to this Church behind bars and joined the men in worshipful praise. One man, Tyler, introduced the ministry with deep insight on the word Hope, as joyful, patient, expectation. The men were very attentive, even participating in the (revised) message: ‘Made In the Image of God’. Afterward, we had prayer and fellowship.

Dan Groves went to this unit for the first time. Dennis and Keely Ware, Assist. Chaplains, started the meeting with worship and a word from Keely. Afterward, I gave a word called: Made in the Image of God. Scripture used ranged from Gen. to Rev. About 16 men were there, and all were attentive and interactive in their responses.

We were mistakenly scheduled at the same time with another ministry. God is not a God of confusion, nor does he make mistakes. The Pastor of the other ministry and I worked together. We decided since she doesn’t sing, I would sing, and she could bring the message, and we both prayed afterward. We had a blessed service. Many came up for prayer. Chaplain Shelia Johnson
