This year marked our 41st Semi-Formal Christmas Banquet. December 2 was the date for our 2023 event. We had another wonderful dinner and an amazing time of fellowship. J.D. Wainwright Unit– On October 8, 2023, Apostle Ray C. Felder, Chaplain Shelia Johnson and Minister Cassandra Kitchen went to Wainwright in Lovelady, TX. The house was full and filled with the holy presence of God. Apostle Felder opened with songs of praise and worship. Texas prisons were all put on lock-down during most of the month of September as authorities performed a sweeping search throughout the entire system for unauthorized items. Therefore we have no visits to report on. The rules have changed since the Lockdown. Some prisons will not allow us to bring anything into the prisons except our Bible and Sermon Notes, **nothing else.** Check with Shelia prior to going in to get individual prison updates.

Carol Vance, CAROL VANCE UNIT; On August 1, 2023, I had the honor of ministering at this unit and kicked off Celebration Month where they have services every day for August. Angel was the leader of the service, gave his testimony of how the Lord changed his life, and opened in prayer. Terrell Trustee Unit – July 9 2023 Jason Perez and Mike Woerner visited the Terrell Unit. There were 19 men present. The service began with one of the inmates leading a word of prayer and then someone read a Bible scripture before a group of 4 guys leading worship. Wainwright Unit On May 7, 2023 Apostle Ray Felder and Sis Johnnie Mae Felder, Minister Cassandra Kitchens, and Chaplain Shelia Johnson went to the Wainwright Unit in Lovelady, Texas. Clemens Trustee Camp On April 2nd, Leonard and Cynthia Ventress ministered faithfully as they have been doing for countless months. Stringfellow Trustee Camp – December 31 Pastor John Hammond and Dan Groves went to this facility and spent some time with about 8 men. After John led us in some worship, he introduced the ministry and Dan gave the message in an informal manner with all of us sitting close and interacting.
