Message From Our Chaplain and President
November 2025
Dear Partners and Friends,
Where Hope Grows
Behind the walls and razor wire, in places where hope can feel as distant as freedom itself, something beautiful is happening. Lives are being transformed. Hearts are being healed. Souls are finding their way back to the light. This is the sacred work of prison ministry—and it’s work we cannot do alone.
Each month, our dedicated volunteers walk through those heavy steel doors carrying more than just Bibles. They carry your prayers, your support, and your belief that every person—no matter their past—deserves a chance at redemption. And they witness miracles in the most unlikely places: a gang member finding peace in prayer, a young mother discovering her worth in God’s eyes, a man serving life without parole becoming a source of hope for others.
Here’s the truth we want to share with you today: these transformations don’t happen by accident. They happen because people like you choose to invest in what others might call a lost cause. They happen because you understand that the walls separating “us” from “them” are often thinner than we think—and that grace is meant for everyone.
When you give to this ministry, you’re not just supporting a program. You’re investing in human potential. Your donations help cover transportation for volunteers, keep our website updated, fund the materials that allow us to send this newsletter, and support digital communication with those inside. Every dollar goes far—because our volunteers give their time freely, driven by love, not payroll.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you could make a difference as a volunteer, let us assure you: you absolutely can. You don’t need a theology degree or a spotless past. You just need a heart willing to see beyond the uniform, beyond the mistakes, to the person God created. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, each bringing something unique to this sacred work.
The men and women we serve often tell us that the most powerful moment isn’t when they receive a Bible or complete a study. It’s when they realize someone from the outside cares enough to show up—month after month—simply because they matter. That someone could be you.
As you read through our newsletters, you’ll see stories of transformation, updates from our visits, and opportunities to get involved. We invite you to prayerfully consider how God might be calling you to join this mission—through your financial support, your time, or both.
Together, we can continue to prove that no one is beyond the reach of love, and that even the most broken places can become gardens where hope grows.
“For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” — Matthew 25:35–36 (KJV)

Town of Hope Vision
Our beloved brother, Robert Dubois, has gone to his eternal rest, leaving behind a burning passion for this vision. Reflect on Hebrews 11:13 and 12:1. Let us strive to remain among the faithful.
As we journey through 2025, our hope is to see our dream for the Town of Hope come to fruition. The Town of Hope is envisioned as a sanctuary for men and women released from prison with no place to call home. This community will support them by providing spiritual guidance and vocational training, helping them reintegrate into society with renewed purpose and strength.
