September 2026 Prison Praise Reports

September 27, 2026 – Ramsey Unit – Rosharon

Brothers Michael Woerner and Jason Perez were blessed to join the men at Ramsey Unit for a wonderful time of worship and fellowship in our Lord Jesus Christ. The service began with heartfelt worship as we praised our Savior in spirit and in truth.

Brother Michael shared an encouraging message from God’s Word, reminding us of the faithfulness of the Lord in every season of life. Brother Jason then delivered a message through the leading of the Holy Spirit, speaking about Abraham’s obedience and submission to God. The message emphasized the believer’s calling to faithfully proclaim the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to all creation, trusting Him wherever He leads.

We thank the Lord for His presence during the service and for the opportunity to encourage these men in their walk of faith.

Editor’s Note: God’s Mercy

Have you taken time recently to reflect on how the Lord has blessed you? It is easy to become focused on present challenges and forget the many ways God has demonstrated His goodness throughout our lives. Taking time to remember His faithfulness helps us refocus our hearts, trust Him more completely, and find peace in the midst of uncertainty.

Throughout Scripture, God’s people were encouraged to remember His works and give thanks for His provision. Near the end of his life, Joshua gathered the nation of Israel and reminded them of all the ways God had cared for, protected, and provided for them. Because God had been faithful in the past, Joshua urged them to remain faithful and continue following the Lord.

The same principle applies to us today. If God called Abraham away from false gods and established him as the father of many nations, can He not draw our wandering children back to Himself? If He delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt, can He not deliver us from the trials we face? If He worked through mighty signs and wonders then, can He not still move powerfully in our lives today?

“And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.” Joshua 24:13

This verse beautifully illustrates God’s grace and mercy. Israel enjoyed blessings they had not earned through their own labor, strength, or wisdom. The Lord provided what they could never have obtained on their own. In much the same way, every good thing we possess ultimately comes from His hand.

As you reflect on God’s faithfulness this week, take time to thank Him for His mercy, provision, and blessings. Remembering what He has done in the past strengthens our faith for whatever lies ahead and fills our hearts with gratitude for all He continues to do.

Incarcerated men seated in a prison chapel raise their hands in worship as a ministry team leads music and prayer from a small stage. A wooden cross hangs behind the speakers, and barred windows line the room, capturing a moment of spiritual connection and hope within confinement.
