Larry Gist Unit – Beaumont, TX – July 7, 2024

Dr. Cassandra Kitchen and I went to the where we’re scheduled for two services. One at 11am and the other at 130pm. I opened up with praise and worship, and Dr. Kitchen ministered in both services. Dr. Kitchen ministered from Hebrews 6:17-18, “The Promise that God Made to You Shall Come Because He Cannot Lie. Now Stand On It.” The message was so powerful and so much needed that she spoke on it again in the second service, which was a new group of men. Forty-six attended the first service and sixty-eight the second service. Two men gave their lives and one rededicated his life to Christ. That’s why we run up and down these highways to these prisons to see men and women set free from the yoke of the enemy.
Praise God! Chaplain Shelia Johnson

Incarcerated men seated in a prison chapel raise their hands in worship as a ministry team leads music and prayer from a small stage. A wooden cross hangs behind the speakers, and barred windows line the room, capturing a moment of spiritual connection and hope within confinement.
