Larry Gist State Jail – Beaumont, TX – August 25, 2024

At the 11am and 1:30pm services, Chaplain Johnson delivered two messages: “Help My Flesh is Trying to Kill Me” (Rom 7:14-25; 8:13) and “Earnestly Contend for the Faith” (Jude 1:3). Many sought prayer, and we are grateful that six men committed their lives to Jesus, affirming the importance of our obedience in reaching out to those in prisons.

Incarcerated men seated in a prison chapel raise their hands in worship as a ministry team leads music and prayer from a small stage. A wooden cross hangs behind the speakers, and barred windows line the room, capturing a moment of spiritual connection and hope within confinement.
