Chaplain S. Johnson, Minister J. Felder, and Minister C. Kitchen visited the Gist Unit in Beaumont, Texas. We began the 11:00 AM service with a session of praise and worship, which the men actively participated in. Chaplain S. Johnson sang a couple of powerful worship songs that truly brought the Lord’s presence into the room. She then delivered an inspirational message titled “Entering Into His Holiness,” based on Psalm 73. The message really connected with the men, prompting many to rise and praise the Lord. For many, it marked the beginning of a new chapter. A total of 42 men attended, and nearly all came forward to the altar for prayer.
