February 2026 Prison Praise Reports

February 1, 2026 – Estelle Unit, Huntsville, TX

Pastor John Hammond and Dan Groves ministered to more than 150 men. The worship was Spirit filled.
Dan sang portions of psalms and encouraged adoration for the name of Jesus. Pastor John brought a
message entitled “Get Acquainted with Your Heavenly Father,” from Ephesians 3:14 to 15 KJV.

February 1, 2026 – Terrell Unit, Rosharon, TX

Jason Perez and Mike Woerner ministered to 17 men. Together they worshipped the Lord and took
communion. Brother Mike shared an encouraging word, followed by Jason’s message on sanctification.
He focused on being doers of the Word and not hearers only, and on bearing love for the glory of God
and the good of those around us.

February 1, 2026 – Stiles Unit, Beaumont, TX

Minister Vanessa Linzy Woods brought the message titled “To Catch a Thief.” Chaplain Shelia Johnson
and Dr. Cassandra Kitchen were also present. She reminded the men that this walk is spiritual, and as
spiritual sons and daughters of God, we must stay on guard. She used scriptures John 10:10,
Ephesians 6:12 to 19, Matthew 13:25, 1 Peter 5:8, and others. Of the 86 men present, several came
forward for prayer, salvation, or rededication.

February 14, 2026 – Rufus Duncan Unit, Diboll, TX

Janet and Dan joined the men in praise with the unit’s worship team leading. Janet offered
encouragement and led the men in positive confessions. Dan brought a message on “The Glory of Man.”
Prayer followed for individuals seeking healing and restoration in family relationships.
