August 24, 2025 – Richard P. LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont, TX

We began the service with prayer, followed by a warm welcome and praise and worship. Chaplain Shelia Johnson preached an impactful sermon titled “Dirty Clothes, Washed, Ironed, and Ready to Wear” from Isaiah 64:6. She highlighted how we all have sin and are in need of cleansing, referencing Isaiah 1:18, which reminds us that although our sins are like scarlet, the Lord washes us white as snow. Chaplain Johnson emphasized that after this washing, we have peace with God from Romans 5:1 and that through repentance, we are sanctified, justified, and purified. Many men in attendance received the message well, with several coming forward for salvation, rededication, and prayer. A number of these men also signed up for baptism.
To God be all the glory!!!!!!
And once again, we praise God for the harvest!

Incarcerated men seated in a prison chapel raise their hands in worship as a ministry team leads music and prayer from a small stage. A wooden cross hangs behind the speakers, and barred windows line the room, capturing a moment of spiritual connection and hope within confinement.
