Jerry Beasley and I ministered at this unit, which had 86 men in attendance. This unit boasts an anointed worship team that ushered in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Jerry, a new member of the Hope For All in Jesus Prison Outreach team, shared an encouraging word that resonated with the men. I presented the message “New Creation” from 2 Corinthians 5:17, emphasizing that in Christ, old things have passed away and all things have become new. The men were very receptive to this message, and when I invited anyone who wished to become a child of God to come forward, one man accepted Christ.
