July 05, 2026 – Mark W. Stiles Unit – Beaumont

Chaplain Shelia Johnson, Min. Johnnie M. Felder, and Min. Cassandra Kitchen visited the Mark W. Stiles Unit in Beaumont, Texas. There were 156 men in attendance. The inmates opened the service with scripture, prayer, praise, and worship. Chaplain Johnson brought a powerful Word from 1 John 3:1-2 entitled “When I See Jesus.” Five men came forward to give their lives to Christ, along with many backsliders, and many others came up for prayer.

God Bless, Cassandra Kitchen

July 05, 2026 – Clemens Unit – Brazoria

The Lord blessed us with the opportunity to bring breakfast tacos for all of the men at the Trustee Camp at the Clemens Unit in honor of the 4th of July. They were truly blessed! The workers at Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant in Angleton, Texas opened early to make 400 tacos, starting the cooking at 5:00 am. They were kind enough to send catering containers so the tacos arrived hot at the unit.

God really wanted to show the men how much He loves them, and they were feeling that love! One man shared that his wife had made him homemade tortillas and breakfast tacos for 23 years, and this touched him in a deeply spiritual way. Another man from San Antonio said it made him feel right at home. Another declared he was amazed to receive “Free World Tacos.”

With their bellies full, it was time for them to receive spiritual food. Leonard preached from John Chapter 3 on “The Greatest Gift of Love: Jesus.” About 50 men stayed for the church service, and everywhere you looked, there were smiles. During the altar call and prayer, at least 10 men came up to pray with the prayer partners. We encouraged them to continue seeking Jesus on a personal, daily basis.

We thank God and Hope for All in Jesus Ministry for enabling us to share both physical and spiritual food with the men at the camp. They were so appreciative and truly blessed.

Cynthia and Leonard Ventress

July 05, 2026 – Larry Gist Unit – Beaumont

Chaplain Shelia Johnson, Min. Johnnie M. Felder, and Min. Cassandra Kitchen went to the Larry Gist Unit in Beaumont. Min. C. Kitchen continued with a testimonial service from the previous Sunday for both services, drawing scripture from Psalm 18:1-3. Across both services, 113 men were present. Six men came forward to give their lives to Christ, and many came forward for rededication. All the men came to the altar to pray for each other’s deliverance and breakthrough. The presence of the Holy Ghost was in that place.

Praise be to God, Cassandra Kitchen

July 11, 2026 – Duncan Unit – Diboll

Janet Joyce and Dan Groves came to this unit and joined the men for an anointed time of worship. Janet testified about the car giveaway ministry she is involved with and how God is blessing it. Dan brought a word of wisdom from 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 and 1 Peter 2:9 entitled “Who and What Are We: Called and Sent.”

Blessings, Dan Groves

July 19, 2026 – Stringfellow SAFP – Rosharon

Mike Woerner and Dan Groves visited this unit, leading the men in worship with a CD and songbooks. Mike shared an encouraging word about confidence in God and the surety of His Word. Dan gave a revised message entitled “Who and What Are We?” from Ephesians 4:30-32, focusing on being sealed and marked as His own. One man gave his life to Jesus, and others came up for prayer.

Dan Groves

July 26, 2026 – LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont

Chaplain Shelia Johnson and Dan Groves visited this unit to join the men in praise and worship. Shelia shared a song, and the men performed a Christian rap song. Dan introduced the ministry and offered scriptural encouragement. Sister Shelia brought the Word from Ezekiel 7:13, “Whatcha Gonna Do When He Comes for You,” and Galatians 6:7, “Sowing and Reaping.” Two men gave their hearts to Jesus, and four rededicated their lives.

Dan Groves

July 26, 2026 – Larry Gist Unit (11 AM) – Beaumont

Chaplain Shelia Johnson and Dan Groves visited this unit and led worship with a CD and songbooks. Chaplain Shelia brought the Word, “Straight and Narrow is the Gate,” from Matthew 7:13-14, sharing how going through that turnstile requires dropping your baggage. Seven backsliders came forward, and three gave their hearts to Jesus.

Respectfully, Dan Groves

July 26, 2026 – Larry Gist Unit (3 PM) – Beaumont

Dan Groves and I visited the Gist unit. I opened the service by introducing the ministry to several people new to the unit and ministered a couple of songs. Dan brought a message titled “God is Not a Walkie Talkie,” based on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. He spoke on the importance of ongoing, two-way communication with God through unceasing prayer and thanksgiving.

If walls could talk, they would be singing Hallelujah. Four artists are creating a masterpiece for the Glory of God on the chapel walls, leaving a legacy. A total of 203 men began the New Year in chapel service, and 11 men took a stand for salvation. John brought a New Year’s message on resolutions and transformation, using scriptures from John 3:30 and Colossians 3.

Janet Joyce and John Hammond

January 4, 2026 – Stiles Unit – Beaumont, TX

Chaplain Shelia Johnson and Minister Vanessa Linzy-Woods were present. After praise, worship, and prayer, Chaplain Johnson brought a powerful word from Joel 2:1-2 titled “The Day the Lord Comes.” She preached that everyone is coming out of the closet except Christians. The Word says we are to blow the trumpet and sound the alarm because that great and terrible day is coming. But instead of blowing the trumpet, we’ve traded it in for a flute. A head count was not taken, but several men came forward for salvation, rededication, prayer, or baptism.

After praise and worship, Dr. Kitchen delivered a mighty word entitled “Fit for the Master’s Use,” from II Timothy 3:19-22. She challenged the men to examine whether they were vessels of honor or dishonor. She admonished that we must put on the whole armor of God and be ready for spiritual warfare so we may be suitable for God’s purpose, maintaining spiritual readiness and commitment to His Word. There were 81 men present, with 29 backsliders repenting and rededicating their lives to the Lord. Many also came for prayer. To God be the glory!!!!

Jerry Beasley, Pastor John Hammond, and Dan Groves went to this unit. Chaplain Eddy had begun the service earlier and wound up after we arrived. Pastor John introduced the ministry and gave an encouraging word. Minister Jerry brought forth the word from Isaiah 62:4-5, about marriage of the land. That you shall be called Hephzibah, (my delight is in her), and your land Beulah, (married). In Christ, Dan Groves

October 05, 2025 – Richard P. LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont

At the LeBlanc Unit, Chaplain Shelia Johnson preached a message entitled “Jesus is the Only Way” from Isaiah 43:1-11. She highlighted that it matters not how dark your past, Jesus can solve it and that He knows us better than we know ourselves. We cannot save ourselves and if we are not under the blood, then we are in a dangerous place. Proclaim Christ today or be put to shame. There were 2 that came for salvation, 2 for Rededication, and 2 for prayer. I believe all 6 signed up for baptism. This was an awesome day because we had been busy serving the Lord a straight 48 hours. Evangelist and Minister Vanessa Linzy-Woods

October 11, 2025 – Rufus Duncan Unit – Diboll

Janet Joyce and Dan Groves joined these men for worship. The worship team, being sensitive to the Spirit, cut short their time to make time for the message. Janet gave an encouraging word and Dan brought a message called “The Whole Armor of God” from Ephesians 6:10-18 along with many supporting scriptures.

October 12, 2025 – Alfred D. Hughes Unit – Gatesville

Dr. Cassandra Kitchen, Dr. Michael Kitchen, Minister Vanessa Woods, and I went to the Hughes Unit in Gatesville, Texas for the 7:30 am service. Dr. Kitchen spoke on “Forgiveness” from Mark 11:25-26. Two backsliders came back to the Lord and many came up for prayer. Chaplain Shelia Johnson

October 12, 2025 – Pam Lychner Unit – Atascocita

I ministered in this unit with 60 men in attendance. The worship team brought in the Presence of the Holy Spirit, and there was a change in the atmosphere that all felt. Several testimonies were given by some of the men that blessed us all. I gave a message, “The New Creation,” from 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” The men received this message well, and many told me this helped with their walk with Jesus. I gave the men the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and one quickly came forward to give his life to Jesus. God bless, Pastor John Hammond

October 26, 2025 – Larry Gist Unit – Beaumont

Dr. Cassandra Kitchen brought the word from Acts 16:16-18, “How Long Will You Keep a Covenant with an Evil Oppressor?” There were 126 men present and for altar call 15 to 20 men came forward as backsliders to rededicate their lives to the Lord from being in covenant with an evil oppressor. Chaplain Shelia Johnson

October 26, 2025 – Richard P. LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont

This unit held a baptism for the men who had recently come to Christ. For obvious reasons, the ladies of Hope For All in Jesus were not able to go in on that day, although they had done their part over the past 3 months leading many to Christ.

October 26, 2025 – Carole S. Young Unit – Dickinson

Minister Vanessa Woods and Dan Groves met with 22 women in this unit. Dan opened with prayer and introduced the ministry. After a time of worship, Vanessa gave a powerful message about healing of physical and inner wounds, from Psalm 34:18, Isaiah 53:4, and several other verses. She shared her own testimony as well. At least 20 women came forward for salvation and rededication of their hearts. Then Vanessa anointed each and prayed for them.

Janet Joyce and Dan Groves joined these men in praise and worship. Afterward, Janet shared a snippet of her message, comparing joy and happiness. She also shared a story showing the faithfulness of God’s perfect timing. Dan gave a message for fathers using David and Solomon as examples. The message concluded with breaking the barrier of unbelief. Individual prayers followed. In and by Christ, Dan Groves

September 07, 2025 – Richard P. LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont

At the Stiles Unit, Chaplain Shelia Johnson’s message was titled “When I See Jesus, Everything Changes.” She used many scriptures supporting the main point that there is a moment in every believer’s life when we will see Christ as He is: Savior, The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. There were 216 men present. Many came up for salvation, rededication, prayer, and some even signed up for baptism. Vanessa Woods, God’s Elect, Because God is Good

September 07, 2025 – Larry Gist Unit (11 AM) – Beaumont

Chaplain Shelia Johnson brought the word entitled “God is Able.” Scriptures were from Ephesians 3:20-21, Daniel 3:17, and Hebrews 7:25. The main points were that God is Almighty and not limited by our circumstances. Nor is there any sin too dark or any pit too deep that He cannot save to the uttermost. There were around 60 to 70 men present. Many came up for salvation, rededication, prayer, and some even signed up for baptism. Vanessa Woods, God’s Elect, Because God is Good

September 07, 2025 – Larry Gist Unit – Beaumont

Minister Vanessa Woods and I were at the Gist unit. Minister V.W. came from several scriptures, but her main point was Isaiah 53:1-10, “The Authority of the Blood and the Cross.” She elaborated on the fact that Jesus experienced excruciating pain and suffering on the cross for us while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. We had a total of 216 in attendance. Many came up for prayer and healing. Yours in Jesus Name, Chaplain Shelia Johnson

September 13, 2025 – Rufus Duncan Unit – Diboll

Janet Joyce and Dan Groves joined this congregation for worship, after which Janet gave an encouraging word and Dan brought a message called “Sanctification (Dedication)” from Romans 12:1, 1 Peter 3:15, and John 15:9-10.

September 19, 2025 – Stringfellow SAFP Unit – Rosharon

Janet Joyce and Dan Groves visited this group of men. Beginning with worship from a CD we brought, we shared songs and then Dan gave some encouraging words. Janet brought the full message on contrasting joy and happiness. The men were encouraged and we had individual prayers with some of them. God bless, Dan Groves

September 28, 2025 – Richard P. LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont

At the LeBlanc Unit, Chaplain Shelia A. Johnson preached from Isaiah 43:1-12, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” This was a message reminding the believers of the promise that there is no such thing as walking alone. We will never be consumed, never out of His presence or protection. There was a room of around 60 men. Two came up for salvation, two for rededication, and 3 for prayer. Vanessa Woods, God’s Elect, Because God is Good

September 28, 2025 – Larry Gist Unit – Beaumont

At the Gist Unit, Dr. Cassandra Kitchen gave the message from Matthew 7:13-14, “Which Gate Will You Choose.” She highlighted the difference between the Wide Gate and the Narrow Gate. She pointed out that on the wide road to destruction there are many sins: Lust, Idolatry, Pride, Drunkenness, Sexual Perversions, Greed, and Witchcraft. She explained that the Narrow Road is a blessed road. She also used Psalm 1 to point out the contrast between the blessed man and the ungodly man. There were 75 men present, and 65 men came forward for Salvation and Rededication. Vanessa Woods, God’s Elect, Because God is Good

September 2025 – Estelle Unit (Youth Program) – Huntsville

Every first and third Sunday, John Lee goes into this unit for a special program that he was requested to lead, in which he works with young offenders between ages 18 to 26. In this program there are 10 inmate mentors and John works with them as well as about 40 young offenders. He found that he is also working with Muslims in this program, so that keeping a sensitivity for them as well as any other beliefs, and maintaining a firm stance for Jesus is challenging. After his first session, John felt he had been accepted by their response as he left the gym. This is a great start and John was encouraged. John could use our prayers of support as he needs to be innovative to keep their attention and be effective. Dan Groves for John Lee

Dan Groves went to this unit and joined the men for worship, after which I gave a message entitled “The Fear of Man vs. The Fear of God,” in which I contrasted the many types of fear, trust, respect, reverence, and belief people will either give to man and human institutions or God and His ways.

August 03, 2025 – Larry Gist Unit – Beaumont

Chaplain S. Johnson, Min. J. Felder, Dr. M. Kitchen, Elect Lady N. Young, and Min. C. Kitchen went to Gist Unit in Beaumont, Texas. Both services, 11:00 am and 1:30 pm, were opened with praise and worship in which the men joined in. Chaplain S. Johnson sang a couple of anointed worship songs which filled the room with the presence of the Lord. At the 11:00 am service, she ministered a passionate and powerful word from Isaiah 42:1-22 entitled, “Restoring.” The men were up on their feet praising the Lord, and 9 accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. God was in the place! Elect Lady N. Young delivered an awesome word from Romans 12:2 entitled, “The Supernatural Love of God Transformed Me.” The men were in awe and received every word! Many of them came for prayer and received a breakthrough. Praise the Most High! Dr. Cassandra Kitchen

August 17, 2025 – Stringfellow SAFP Unit – Rosharon

Dan Groves went to this unit. I was impressed with the turnout as they already had church that morning. Using a CD, we had worship. One man that had a demon cast out and came to Jesus last month gave his testimony of what God is doing for him. Several others also gave testimonies. I then gave a message titled, “Diligence or Slothfulness.” Using many proverbs, we ended up in prosperity God’s way, finishing with 3 John 1:2.

August 24, 2025 – Larry Gist Unit (1:30 PM) – Beaumont

Chaplain S. Johnson, Min. J. Felder, Evangelist Min. V. Linzy-Woods, and Min. C. Kitchen went to this unit for the 1:30 pm service. We opened with praise and worship in which the men joined in. We then sang a couple of anointed worship songs, led by Chaplain Johnson and Min. Linzy-Woods, which filled the room with the presence of the Lord. Min. Linzy-Woods delivered an amazing word entitled, “These Scars,” which was an analogy of her own experiences from Psalm 147:3. The men were up on their feet praising the Lord because they could identify with the message. Most of them came up for prayer so that their wounds would become healing scars. Glory to God! Dr. C. Kitchen

August 24, 2025 – Oliver J. Bell Unit – Cleveland

Jerry Beasley and I ministered in this unit, which had 86 men in attendance. This unit has an anointed worship team that ushered in the Presence of the Holy Spirit. Jerry is a new member of the Hope For All In Jesus Prison Outreach team, and he spoke an encouraging word that was well received. I gave the message “A New Creation” from 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” The men were very receptive to the message, and when I asked if anyone wanted to become a child of God, one man came forward and gave his life to Christ. In His service, Pastor John Hammond

August 24, 2025 – Richard P. LeBlanc Unit – Beaumont

In Beaumont, we began the service with prayer, introduction, and welcome followed by praise and worship. Chaplain Shelia Johnson preached an awesome sermon titled “Dirty Clothes: Washed, Ironed, and Ready to Wear” from Isaiah 64:6. This sermon referred to how we are all dirty like filthy rags needing to be cleansed of our spots and wrinkles, as well as Isaiah 1:18 that though our sins are as scarlet, the Lord washes us white as snow. She taught that after the washing, we have peace with God from Romans 5:1 and that because of the washing process, we are sanctified, justified, and purified as a result of confessing our sins to God. He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit. Washed in the blood, ironed by fire, and being clothed in the Holy Spirit. There was a room full of men, and they received the message well. Many came up for salvation, rededication, and prayer. Several of those men also signed up for baptism. To God be all the glory! And again, we praise God for the harvest! Vanessa Linzy-Woods
