There was a strong sense of revival as another ministry led the Sunday morning service. The message focused on our relationship with God and the importance of prayer. Intercessory prayer was emphasized as a gift that allows us to stand in the gap for others. Knowing someone is praying for us can provide the hope and encouragement needed to overcome. We ministered later in the morning and early afternoon. I opened the service by leading worship. Across both services, 91 men attended. Dan introduced the ministry and shared a word of encouragement. I preached The Mind is the Battlefield from 1 Corinthians 10:3 to 5. Two men gave their lives to the Lord.

Dan Groves and I ministered in the morning service with approximately 60 men in attendance. The worship team ushered in the presence of the Holy Spirit. I introduced Hope For All in Jesus Prison Outreach and shared a word of encouragement. Dan preached the message titled Our Future is Defined with Our Choice of Words. Many came forward for prayer.

Janet Joyce and Dan Groves ministered to a small but engaged congregation. Worship was led using a CD and songbooks. Janet encouraged the men with a message drawn from her own life experiences. Dan shared the revised message on Surrender. Many came forward for prayer for healing and family needs.

Forty one people attended this emotional and Spirit led service. There was significant time spent in prayer, laying burdens before the Lord and seeking His purpose. We prayed for pastors, worship leaders, and ministry leaders to stay strong in their calling. It was an encouraging service for all.

Michael Woerner and I ministered with 242 men in a powerful service. The Lighthouse choir led anointed worship that prepared hearts for the Word. Michael shared a message on trusting God through both good days and days of uncertainty. Several men came forward for prayer, responding to the call to trust God more deeply.

We continue to see refreshing and challenging moments in the Choices program. We feel confident that the Holy Spirit is moving in an impactful way. We had meaningful conversations with several of the younger men. Some asked sincere questions and others took steps toward accepting Christ.

Dr. Cassandra Kitchen and I ministered at the LeBlanc Unit. The room was full to capacity. The praise team closed worship with the song I Trust God. Dr. Kitchen’s message came from Isaiah 35:8 to 10, Walking and Staying on the Highway to Holiness, and related to Psalm 51. The altar was full of men rededicating their lives to Christ, and the angels rejoiced over the soul that gave his life to the Lord.

Dr. Cassandra Kitchen and Shelia Johnson conducted both the 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. services. At 11 a.m., Shelia ministered from Luke 23:46 and 1 Corinthians 15:12 to 22 with the message Are You in Good Hands. She asked, Do you have both life insurance and life assurance. At 1:30 p.m., Dr. Kitchen continued her message Walking and Staying on the Highway to Holiness. A total of 117 men attended both services. Four men gave their lives to Christ and 21 rededicated their lives to the Lord. What a mighty God we serve. God is drawing His people by His Spirit.
