April 6, 2025 – Mark Stiles Unit – Beaumont, TX

Dr. Cassandra Kitchen, Minister Johnnie M. Felder, and Chaplain Johnson led the chapel service with great fervor. The worship team performed with such anointing that the atmosphere was spiritually charged. I contributed by ministering through two songs before Dr. Kitchen delivered her message. She likened the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit in the room to the feeling described by Jeremiah, as if it were fire shut up in her bones. Her sermon, drawn from Mark 11:25-26, focused on “Forgiveness.” The men in attendance resonated deeply with her words, acknowledging that it was a timely message for them. Many came forward seeking prayers for forgiveness and to embrace Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Incarcerated men seated in a prison chapel raise their hands in worship as a ministry team leads music and prayer from a small stage. A wooden cross hangs behind the speakers, and barred windows line the room, capturing a moment of spiritual connection and hope within confinement.
