January Ministry Reports

Pam Lychner State Jail, January 23rd
Hope For All In Jesus went into the Pam Lychner County Jail, with Jason Perez and I ministering in the 8:00 am service. The inmates in this unit are there for a few months to one year. I brought my acoustic guitar and led the worship to open the meeting and Jason Perez (a recent volunteer for the prison ministry) gave an encouraging word to the men using many scriptures from the Bible. The message I gave was “Love Not the World” using 1 John 2:15 to show that, “if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” and concluded with Romans 12:2, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world.” Jason and I did what we could to help the inmates understand that this is their time of training in the Word of God, so they will have the strength to resist the enemy’s attack when they enter back into society.

Pam Lychner State Jail, Sunday, 23rd January
10:45 am service, Brothers Jamie Rigell and Dan Groves arrived at the Chapel as John Hammond and Jason Perez were leaving. Jamie opened with prayer and Dan led the group of about 15 souls in worship and songs from the book of psalms. Jamie then gave a mixture of a word of exhortation and his testimony. It was a good and sobering word and informative. With time running out, Dan decided not to give the message that he had prepared, but by the power of the Holy Spirit, gave a fair capsulation of it. At least 4 men came for prayer, mostly for family members and for healing of family members. One man asked for prayer for victory over the musings of his mind.
